80kW DC Fast Charging Station Solution for EV Charging Operator in Thailand

Background & Challenge

A growing EV charging network operator in Thailand was expanding its public charging infrastructure and required a reliable DC fast charging solution for multiple commercial locations.

The customer needed 8 units of 80kW DC fast charging stations with customized OCPP integration to ensure seamless compatibility with their local cloud management platform. In addition, the project required customized exterior painting and branding based on the client’s design specifications.

One of the biggest challenges was the tight delivery timeline. The customer required all units to be completed, tested, and ready for shipment within 30 days, including OCPP debugging and platform communication testing before export from China.

The Solution

Hefei KED Charging Technology Co., Ltd. provided 8 units of customized 80kW DC fast charging stations designed for commercial EV charging applications.

To meet the project requirements, the KED engineering team completed several customized modifications, including:

• OCPP protocol customization and debugging
• Full compatibility testing with the customer’s local cloud platform
• Customized exterior painting and branding
• Pre-shipment communication testing in China
• Factory quality inspection and operational verification

The chargers were fully configured and tested before shipment to ensure plug-and-play deployment after arrival at the customer’s designated warehouse.

Results & Impact

The project was completed ahead of schedule, with all 8 charging stations finished and shipped within only 25 days.
